What is Resilient Newburyport and how can I get connected to Newburyport's Resiliency efforts?

Resilient Newburyport is an educational and outreach initiative led by the City of Newburyport’s Resiliency Committee. Its mission is to unite residents, organizations, and officials in Newburyport to address and mitigate the impacts of climate change. The city received funding from a grant from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs’ Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) Program to start this initiative.

For additional information or to get involved, please register for Resiliency News and Announcements or email resilientnewburyport@gmail.com.  The committee’s website is https://www.cityofnewburyport.com/resiliency.  Meetings are open to the public and are typically held on the third Wednesday of each month at 3pm.  Meeting agendas can be found on the city’s website calendar.
