Rain Barrels

The City of Newburyport is proud to announce that we are partnering with The Great American Rain Barrel Company to provide residents with rain barrels this year.

There are many benefits of owning a rain barrel, which includes:

• Decreasing your water bill up to 40%
• Good for gardens
• Improves residential storm management
• Slows pollution from runoff
• Lower municipal water demands and saves energy at treatment plants

These barrels will be on sale until June 18 at midnight. They will be available for pick-up on Thursday, June 29 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Recycling Center (23 Colby Farm Lane, Newburyport). To order a rain barrel, please visit: https://www.greatamericanrainbarrel.com/community/.
