Employee Handbook

The Employee Guidebook contains a summary of current policies and benefits applicable to City of Newburyport employees. Please note that employees of Newburyport Public Schools are governed by a separate handbook. It is designed to provide prospective and current employees with basic information about the City, its government, and its personnel practices. Payroll

Employees can access their personal pay information through their online Employee Forward Self Service account located on the Harpers Payroll website: https://www.employeeforward.com.  Direct deposit can be implemented on Employee Forward Self Service or by contacting Chris Accardi in the Payroll Department at caccardi@cityofnewburyport.com or 978-465-5896 ext. 1212

Verifications of Employment (VOE) are processed in the Payroll Department.
