A native of Lexington, Massachusetts, Sarah Hall moved to Newburyport from Portland, Maine with her husband Matt and two sons in 2010. Her sons graduated from NHS in 2021 and 2025. After earning a Masters in elementary education from Smith College, Sarah began her career as a 4th grade teacher in Westford, MA. Sarah is now a field teacher for Mass Audubon, serving a wide range of students across the region. Prior to joining the City Council in 2026, Sarah served a four-year term on the School Committee. Sarah resides in Ward Six and enjoys spending time in Maudslay State Park.
