Ben Harman

Ben Harman is an at-large member of the Newburyport City Council and previously represented Ward 4. A Newburyport resident since 2018, he has served on the Newburyport Human Rights Commission, contributed to Newburyport Pride events, and is a self-described Yankee Homecoming super fan.

For 20 years, Ben has worked in the technology sector, from early-stage startups to internationally recognized consumer brands including Yahoo and Boston-based CarGurus. He is currently Vice President of People and Business Operations at Owl Labs. Ben also serves as Co-Chair of the Board of Directors for Point Foundation, the nation’s largest LGBTQ+ scholarship-granting nonprofit.

Ben and his husband, Mark Ferrandini, live on High Street with their dog, Wally.
