  • Go to this link.
  • Complete each section of this form completely and accurately.
    • It is important to note that if you have multiple vehicles you need to complete this form for EACH vehicle.
    • You must enter your address how it appears on your vehicle registration. Each submission will be run through the Department of Motor Vehicles system to ensure you are a Newburyport resident. If the address on your vehicle registration is not a valid Newburyport address, you must come to the office with a bill, lease, bank statement, etc. that proves your Newburyport address.
  • On the last page of the form you will be asked if you would like to have your discount sticker mailed to the address you provided or if you would like to pick it up at the Harbormaster Office. There will be a processing time of two days before it is available for pick up or mailed.

Discount stickers will still be available at the Harbormaster Office located at 27 Rear Water St, Newburyport, MA 01950 (behind the Custom House Maritime Museum on the waterfront). Please check our office hours before coming to the office.

There is no fee to obtain your resident discount sticker, but you will have to pay a discounted fee at the lot each time you go. These fees are $10 on weekdays and $12 on weekends & holidays.

Note: If you arrive before the lot attendant is on duty, an envelope will be placed on your car and your information will be recorded. You can pay the price on the envelope when exiting the lot or simply put your payment in the envelope and add a stamp and mail it to our office.
