Brown School Adaptive Reuse, RFI, and Expressions of Interest
Project Background:
Since transfer of the former Brown School building and property from the School Department to the Mayor and City Council several years ago, City officials have discussed various potential adaptive reuse options for both the original school building and the gym addition. A number of documents, studies and reports related to these efforts can be viewed on an archive page here.
The most recent discussions regarding adaptive reuse resulted in the issuance of a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFI), and subsequent thereto, the receipt of several proposals (Expressions of Interest) on September 8, 2023.
