Join Us for the Community Forums for Action!

We're excited to invite you to participate in our upcoming "Community Forums for Action,"  designed to deepen our understanding and spur action against climate risks in Newburyport.

Mayor Sean Reardon has emphasized the critical importance of community involvement, stating, "Climate change is already affecting Newburyport residents. We're eager to provide everyone with the opportunity to learn and contribute to our city's strategies for mitigating its impacts. With such an engaged and active community, I am enthusiastic about the potential for high participation."

Upcoming Sessions:

  • Tuesday, April 30, 2023, at 6:30 PM – Newburyport Senior/Community Center
  • Monday, May 6, 2023, at 1:00 PM – PITA Hall, Plum Island
  • Tuesday, May 7, 2023, at 6:30 PM – Newburyport Senior/Community Center
  • Tuesday, May 21, 2023, at 9:00 AM – Horton Terrace Community Center, Newburyport

Each session will offer hands-on, interactive experiences providing valuable insights into our city's climate action plans and ways you can play a part in shaping our future resilience strategies. You'll learn about the local impacts of climate change, discuss ongoing and planned projects, and discover how you can contribute to making Newburyport a more sustainable community.
