Trash and Recycling Collection Delayed One Day -All Week– During the Week of January 26

Due to the upcoming snowstorm, trash and recycling collection in Newburyport will be delayed by one day during the week of January 26.

Monday pickups → Tuesday

Tuesday pickups → Wednesday

Wednesday pickups → Thursday

Thursday pickups → Friday

Friday pickups → Saturday

Exception: Downtown Newburyport will have Friday collection as usual.

Please place barrels where they will not impede traffic. If necessary, clear a space for them or place them on top of the snow, provided they do not interfere with snowplow operations.

The Recycling Center will also be closed on Monday and will reopen on Thursday, January 29, from 12:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
