Streets and Sidewalks Update 6/17/26

We’d like to provide an update on the Streets & Sidewalks progress.  We continue to do our best to provide advanced notification to residents, although sometimes the schedules of our contractors, and the weather, can create unforeseen changes in the schedule.  Our goal remains to minimize disruption while ensuring quality work in a timely manner.  We continue to communicate updates as they become available on the City’s website, social media pages, and WaterSmart.

As of today, June 17, 2026, we are pleased to share that we have completed the reclaim and binder (first course of asphalt) on Lt. Leary Dr., Cutter’s Ct., Marquand Ln., Griffin Ct., Allen St., Norman Ave., Iona Ave., and the end of Ocean Ave.  We have also completed the sidewalk renovation work on High Street near St. Paul’s Church.  Sidewalk construction is currently underway on Goldsmith Dr. and will start next week on Allen St.

The milling work planned for portions of Moseley Ave., Rawson Ave., and Goldsmith Dr. will start mid-July, once the sidewalk work is complete.  Prior to final paving, castings crews will adjust all manholes, water, and gas and drain grates.
