On January 25th, 2023, Mayor Sean Reardon will give the State of the City Address, which will include updates on the City’s accomplishments throughout 2022, and its priorities for the year ahead. The Mayor looks forward to providing this important information to invited guests including the City Council, state and federal elected officials, and the greater Newburyport Community. The program will begin at 7pm in the City Hall Auditorium at 60 Pleasant Street. Information on additional speakers will be shared closer to the date of the event.

At the conclusion of the address, Mayor Reardon will present awards recognizing Newburyport community members for their public and community service. The Onward, Forward! Public Service Award will honor a city employee, board or commission volunteer, or elected official who has gone above and beyond in their service to the city. In addition, three community service awards will recognize individuals, businesses, and youth who have made significant positive contributions to Newburyport.
