Updated Information From MEMA For Newburyport Residents Affected By Weekend Storm

Update from MEMA (Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency)

MEMA released some information to pass along to residents that may have experienced damages due to last weekends storm.

Individuals and Businesses
Damages related to private homes and businesses will be captured using a separate survey. MEMA is utilizing an on-line IDA survey that can be filled out directly by residents and business owners. We request your assistance in distributing this survey to impacted residents and business owners. This information will be used to determine whether the Commonwealth may be eligible to request federal disaster assistance under the Individual Assistance or Small Business Administration programs and whether there is a basis for engaging in the second step of the eligibility process – formal FEMA/State Preliminary Damage Assessments (PDAs).
