Streets and Sidewalks Paving Update 5/8 & 5/9

The City of Newburyport, Department of Public Services’ paving contractor, D&R General Contracting, Inc. will be installing the final topcoat of pavement on Hoyts Lane and Curzon Mill Road on Monday, May 8th and on Peters Rd., Longfellow Dr., Fruit St. and Fair St. on Tuesday, May 9th. 

 Construction work will occur during the hours of 7am-5pm and “No Parking” signs will be posted to the affected areas prior to and during the work. Please adhere to these notices. Any vehicle parked on the roadway will be towed at the owner’s expense. Vehicle access to your home and driveway may be interrupted for a short duration of time but we will work with the contractor to minimize the impact.
