The Newburyport Planning Office will accept qualifications regarding Owner’s Project Manager (OPM) services for the approximately $6 million “Newburyport West End Fire Station Project” at City Hall, Office of Planning and Development, 60 Pleasant Street, MA, 01950, ATTN: Geordie Vining, gvining@cityofnewburyport.com, (978) 465-4400x6, until 2:00 p.m. E.S.T. on Thursday, August 25, 2022.  The RFQ document, including associated forms, is available on the City’s website at: https://www.cityofnewburyport.com/planning-development/bids/request-for-qualifications-newburyport-west-end-fire-station-project. The scope of services includes review of designer’s final construction documents, bid phase services, and construction management. Timeframe for OPM services is fall 2022 – spring 2024. The OPM services fee will be negotiated.  Qualifications and selection criteria include extent of experience (at least seven years of OPM public construction project services), past performance, communication, approach, and capacity and financial stability. All consultants and sub-consultants must be listed.
