Plum Island Voting Location Change for January 23rd Election

Due to recent weather conditions and the flooding of the parking lot at the Plum Island Boat House, 300 Northern Boulevard, the building is inaccessible as a polling place for potential voters. The People’s United Methodist Church located at 64 Purchase Street is within the boundaries of Ward 1 and is the current State approved Polling Location for Ward 1.  All Plum Island residents residing in Newburyport should report to the People’s United Methodist Church on 64 Purchase Street to vote in the special January 23rd election.  Polls will be open from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23rd.  All seniors needing a ride to the polls should contact Rosemary at the Senior/Community Center by calling 978-462-0430.
