Funding Opportunity: Community Climate Resiliency Projects

Newburyport Resiliency

The Newburyport Resiliency Committee is seeking applications from non-profits, schools, and service organizations within the Newburyport community to fund climate resilience related projects. This program will be part of a Massachusetts Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) action grant proposal that will be submitted by the city this Spring.

The Resiliency Committee is hoping to receive a diverse range of proposed projects, including climate-related art exhibits or performances, student or community educational projects, watershed protection, urban tree canopy, heat emergency planning, and many more. Funding is capped at $2,500 per project. The deadline to apply is April 3rd. More information can be found under ‘Funding Opportunity’ on the Resiliency Committee’s webpage.
