The event on Saturday will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m in collaboration with the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ACES (the Alliance of Climate and Environmental Stewards), and other community groups. The event will be held in Market Square, where there will be a variety of experts and vendors on hand with information on everything from new tools for saving on energy costs, to starting gardens, reducing waste, and attracting more butterflies to your yard.

There will also be 24 fun and fresh "Windows for Change" on display in store fronts, artistically decorated to focus on the environment. The displays were created by Newburyport youth out of recycled, repurposed, and up-cycled materials.

At 12pm, there will be a brief speaking program and cupcakes (while they last!) for youth in attendance. Participants are also encouraged to wear an item of vintage clothing representing smart fashion.
