Indigenous Peoples' Day Observance

Newburyport will host an Indigenous Peoples’ Day Observance on Saturday, October 7th at Waterfront Park, starting at 10am. The event will feature a speaking program including Mayor Reardon and Council President Shand and will be followed by music, drumming, storytelling, and many other cultural presentations that will honor all Native Peoples. The City’s DEI Alliance is partnering with Imagine Studios and other groups to make this event possible.
