Sealed qualifications will be received, but not opened, at the Water/Sewer Business Office, 16C Perry Way, Newburyport, MA 01950 at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 23, 2024 for the following:

Designer Services for Secondary Clarifier Improvements at the Newburyport WPCF

Aselection committee will review the proposals and shortlist up to three firms for interviews.  Following the interviews, the firms will be ranked in order of qualifications.  The City intends to award the design contract to the highest-ranking firm that successfully negotiates a mutually acceptable agreement between the two parties.

An optional site visit will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM. The Site Visit will be held at the WPCF located at 115 Water Street, Newburyport, MA 01950.

The contract award will be made by the City’s Chief Procurement Officer and is subject to approval by both the Water/Sewer Commission and the Mayor of Newburyport.  The City of Newburyport reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any informality in the RFQ process, if deemed in the City’s best interest.

Request for Qualification documents are available upon request after 11:00 AM on April 24, 2024 at 16C Perry Way, Newburyport, MA 01950, and from the City’s website:  www.cityofnewburyport.com/bids.
