PURCHASE OF A NEW MOTOR FOR THE SEWER PLANT GENERATOR

The City of Newburyport, Massachusetts has implemented an Emergency Procurement for the purchase of a motor for the sewer plant generator. The old motor could not be rebuilt. Currently the sewer plant is renting a generator. Gemini Electric, DBA Power Up Generator, Auburn, NH has one motor in production that will fit the sewer plant’s generator. An approximate cost is $200,000.
