Rental Assistance Program

The purpose of the Newburyport Rental Assistance Program is to provide short-term relief to low and moderate income individuals and families who are having difficulty paying their rent or have been economically impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. The City of Newburyport, through its Affordable Housing Trust, will be providing grants to financially assist qualified households with current rent payments or acquiring a new rental during a time of need. The City of Newburyport has partnered with the Pettengill House, Inc. to administer the Newburyport Rental Assistance Program.
