Upcoming Preliminary Election News

Newburyport’s preliminary election will be held on Tuesday, September 19th for the citywide office of School Committee, and for City Councillor in Ward 4. All wards have a preliminary election this year because of the number of School Committee candidates. The warrant for the election includes information on the polling locations, and can be found here. The ward map can be found here.

Polls are open 7 am to 8 pm.

The City’s Biennial Municipal Election will take place on Tuesday, November 7th. Early voting will begin Saturday, October 28th.
