Information on Upcoming Preliminary Election

Newburyport’s preliminary election will be held on Tuesday, September 19^th for the citywide office of School Committee, and for City Councillor in Ward 4. All wards have a preliminary election this year because of the number of School Committee candidates. The warrant for the election includes information on the polling locations, and can be found here. The ward map can be found here.

Polls are open 7 am to 8 pm.

The City’s Biennial Municipal Election will take place on Tuesday, November 7^th. Early voting will begin Saturday, October 28^th.
