Community Preservation Committee's Annual Public Hearing

NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING

The Newburyport Community Preservation Committee will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom. Please join the online meeting by visiting the City of Newburyport website events calendar at https://www.cityofnewburyport.com/community-preservation-committee/events/341846.

The public is invited to attend and discuss the Community Preservation Act (CPA), the Community Preservation Fund, and the needs, possibilities, and resources of the City for the acquisition and preservation of open space, historic resources, affordable housing, and recreational resources.

Project evaluation criteria and the online application for the 2024 funding cycle are now available at the City’s website at: http://www.cityofnewburyport.com/community-preservation-committee. 

Applications must be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m., Friday, December 15, 2023. Submissions for this round, and all future rounds, shall be ONLINE ONLY.  No hard copy paper submissions need to be delivered to the Planning Office.
