City Holding Housing Forum November 16th
Please join us for the Newburyport Housing Forum, an opportunity to learn and have your voice heard on one of the most issues facing the City. This session will be held by the City and the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission as part of our work to update our Housing Production Plan. Learn about and discuss what work is underway to tackle housing challenges on the local level and give your feedback on potential strategies to create further housing opportunities in Newburyport.
The forum will take place on Thursday, November 16th from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the Newburyport Senior Community Center at 331 High Street. To RSVP, please visit event.mvpc.org/Newburyport.
After remarks by Mayor Reardon and a brief presentation, community members will have the opportunity to learn more about strategies and policy issues including zoning changes, Accessory Dwelling Units, and using municipal and state-owned properties to encourage more housing.
