Biennial Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 7th

The City of Newburyport urges all eligible citizens to participate in the upcoming Biennial Municipal Election, during which City Council and School Committee positions will be on the ballot.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 7, 2023, and polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. We have two days of early voting left on Thursday, November 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday, November 3 from  8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. All early voting takes place at the Senior Community Center at 331 High Street. 

On election day, there are polling places set up in each ward. You can look here to find your designated polling place.

Please note that this year the Ward 2 Polling Place has been relocated from the Brown School to the Public Library at 94 State Street.
