Bartlet Mall Playground Construction Begins Monday, 9/11

In preparation for the installation of the new universally accessible playground, the current playground at the Bartlet Mall will be removed on Monday, September 11^th. The new playground is scheduled for installation this fall, conditional on receiving the final equipment, and dependent on weather, with temperatures needed that are conducive to the poured in place playground surfacing. At the end of the week of the 11^th, grading work will begin that will allow for an expansion to the playground space. This will level out the area and make it match the rest of the park. Access through Auburn Street will be closed off through the rest of the season to make room for this work.
