EAC Meetings

EAC meetings are open to the public and minutes are recorded for informational purposes. As an advisory body, the EAC is exempt from the provisions of the state Open Meeting Law.

Meetings are held once a month on the last Thursday of each month or as determined by the chair. These meetings are generally held in City Hall from 7-9 PM or virtually and are posted on the city’s website.

A majority of appointed members constitutes a quorum. Members must make every effort to attend all meetings and perform duties as assigned. Any member unable to attend a meeting will notify the chair in advance and make a report available for that meeting if requested.

When appropriate, the EAC may hold special meetings, workshops, or events aimed at City departments, public outreach, or fact-finding.

Staff liaisons, who are non-voting members, are encouraged to attend meetings and be available as program resources. These liaisons may include, but are not limited to the Energy and Recycling Director, Department of Public Services staff, School Facilities Manager, and a member of both the Mayor’s office and the City Council.
