UPDATE - Newburyport Board of Health Issues Emergency Orders Restricting Gatherings, Mandating Masks

On April 23, 2020, the Newburyport Board of Health updated their April 13th Emergency Orders adding that the Board strongly advises that anyone out in public ways, areas, buildings and such shall wear a facial covering over their nose and mouth. 

The orgininal orders bans public gatherings of any size, requires customers and employees of essential businesses to wear protective face masks, and bans evictions until further notice to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  All orders will be in effect until Public Health Emergency declaration has been lifted by the Board of Health.
