Small Business Relief Grants Still Available
Funding for small businesses through the Newburyport/ Amesbury Small Business Relief Grant Program is still available. Up to $10,000 is available to qualified small businesses in Newburyport with 5 or fewer employees affected by COVID-19. Small businesses can apply for grant funds to pay for rent/mortgage, employee wages, and technical assistance to help them get back on their feet and adjust to a new economic normal.
The City of Newburyport is partnering with the City of Amesbury on this program. Each city has up to $400,000 of funding available. The City of Amesbury Department of Community and Economic Development will be administering the grant program on behalf of both communities.
