The City of Newburyport is completing its Economic Development Strategy, and we need your input!

On Wednesday, January 11th, the City will be hosting a public forum to discuss and gain input on Newburyport’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy. The City received grant funding from the State to pursue this project, and hired consultants Karl Seidman and Civic Moxie to create a plan for how to approach economic development in the city. The project includes documenting existing conditions, defining goals, researching potential approaches, and working closely with key stakeholders. The group has worked closely with a number of stakeholders in the business, arts, and civic spaces, and looks forward to broadening their outreach to the greater Newburyport community. All members of the public are invited to join for this workshop on economic development priorities.

The meeting will take place at 6pm at the Senior Community Center. We look forward to seeing you there. To RSVP to attend, please fill out this link.
