As we all have heard about the recent gas explosions in the neighboring towns of Andover, North Andover, and Lawrence we want to assure you that Newburyport is safe. Mayor Donna Holaday has spoken with our representative from National Grid who has assured us that Newburyport is not affected. The towns affected are supplied by Columbia Gas and Newburyport is supplied by National Grid.
