Hillside Center Applications

Hillside Living, LLC has received approvals for the Hillside Center for Sustainable Living to be located on Hillside Avenue and Cottage Court.  The project will construct 48 units in 8 residential buildings with a greenhouse, barn, and silo.  In addition, Hillside Living, LLC in conjunction with the YWCA of Greater Newburyport will construct a lodging house at 18 Cottage Court.

Zoning Board applications:

The Zoning Board approved the required special permits and variances on July 12, 2016.

4 Hillside Ave. and 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19 Cottage Ct.This is a request for a Special Permit to construct multi-family homes (Use #104) with bonus units and with reduced separation between buildings; and construct a private parking lot (Use #413)

12-14 Cottage Ct. - This is a request for a Special Permit to construct a private parking lot (Use #413)

18 Cottage Ct.This a request for a Special Permit to construct a lodging house (Use #106) and Dimensional Variances for insufficient lot area, side setback, and front setback
