Retiremement Board Election - The Election for the Retirement Board is scheduled for December 11, 2014. It is for a three year term and the election will be conducted by mail. Nomination papers are available in the Retirement Office on the 2nd Floor of City Hall, 60 Pleasant Street, Newburyport. Active members and Retirees of the system are eligible to run for the position.
November 4, 2014 State Election. The deadline to register to vote for the November 4, 2014 election is October 15, 2014 and the Clerk's office will be open until 8 pm for voter registration.
Absentee ballots for the November 4 State Primary are not available yet.
The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is noon on Monday, November 3, 2014.
